On March 29, 2007 the Middlebury Township Election Commission met at the Middlebury Township Hall at 7627 West M-21 Ovid, Michigan. The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by Clerk Audrey Sovis. Election Commission members present were Carolyn Stevens. Supervisor Anthony Sinicropi was absent. There were 4 visitors. Stevens made a motion and Sovis supported to appoint the following election inspectors to work at the May 8, 2007 Election: Cindy Dennison (R), Lynn Givens (D), Eileen Wheeler (R), and Dennis Smalec (D); all ayes, no nays, carried. The former two inspectors will each work half of the day. The first two will work the whole day. At 7:03 p.m. a motion was made by Stevens and supported by Sovis to adjourn; all ayes, no nays, carried. On March 29, 2007 a Special Meeting of the Middlebury Township Board was held at the Middlebury Township Hall at 7627 West M-21 Ovid, Michigan. The meeting was called to order at 7:32 p.m. by Supervisor Anthony Sinicropi with the pledge to the flag. Prayer was given by Clerk Audrey Sovis. Other board members present included: Treasurer Carolyn Stevens and Trustees Charles Simpson and Paul Dutton. There were 3 visitors present. A motion was made by Dutton and supported by Simpson to appoint Cindy Dennison as Clerk effective April 1, 2007; all ayes, no nays, carried. At 7: 34 p.m. a motion was made by Dutton and supported by Simpson to adjourn; all ayes, no nays, carried.
