M-21, Ovid, MI. The meeting was called to order by Supervisor Anthony Sinicropi with the pledge to the flag. Trustee Charles Simpson led the board in prayer. Roll call was taken with the following members present: Supervisor Anthony Sinicropi; Clerk, Susan Tomasek-Swan; Treasurer Carolyn Stevens; Trustee Paul Dutton and Trustee Charles Simpson. No guest was present. Public Comment: None General Business: Trustee Dutton made a motion to approve the agenda as presented. Clerk Tomasek-Swan seconded the motion. All ayes and no nays the motion was carried. New Business: Adoption of Resolution 2008-06 OMES renewal millage motion was made by Trustee Dutton and supported by Treasurer Stevens. A roll call vote was taken with the following ayes: Susan Tomasek-Swan, Carolyn Stevens, Paul Dutton, Charles Simpson, and Anthony Sinicropi; nays: none. The resolution was declared adopted. The board discussed the future for the township hall with many ideas being considered. The board also discussed the education of the public in regards to the two ballots being proposed on the August ballot. Trustee Dutton made a motion to adjourn the meeting.
