Board Members Present: Supervisor Michael Herendeen, Clerk Susan Tomasek-Swan, Treasurer Carolyn Stevens, Trustee Gary Kiger and Trustee Richard Givens Guests Present: Anthony Sinicropi, Deputy Supervisor; Richard Semans, OMESA representative; Diane and Mile Dowler, Middlebury Township Assessor Scheduled Comments: None Public Comments: Opened at 7:02pm Closed at 7:16 Richard Semans stated to the board that he has received the signed property deed as of today, June 12. OMESA (Ovid. Middlebury Emergency Service Authority) can stop the court proceeding. Rowe engineering company is drawing the design for the road access to the cell tower which is located on OMESA property. There was a brief discussion regarding the cell tower and the benefits to OMESA. Motion to Approve Agenda: Givens made a motion to approve the agenda with the addition of item number 4. Carpet. Yes: All Nay: None Carried Motion to Approve Bills: Givens made a motion to approve paying the bills with checks 3349-3365 with void on checks 3350 and 3358 and 2 EFTs in an amount of $6,300.75 from General Fund account and check 1018 for $315.77 from the Road Fund account. < Stevens seconded the motion. Aye: All Nay: None Carried Adopting the Principles of Governance: Tomasek-Swan made a motion to adopt the Principles of Governance as outlined by the MTA (Michigan Township Association). Givens seconded the motion. Aye: All Nay: None Carried Carpet Quote: Stevens made a motion to investigate the cost of replacing carpet and moving and storing the equipment in the hall to bring back to the board for theduly meeting. Givens supported the motion. \ Questions were raised about what area was going to be réplaced. The’colors were also discussed.
