Trustee Semans lead the prayer. Clerk Brown called the Election Commission Meeting. Approval of May 7, 2019 Election Inspectors Adjourned Budget Meeting: Election Inspection was adjourned at 7:12. Without objections election commission meeting at 7:12 pm. Regular Meeting Call to Order Regular Meeting: Supervisor Herendeen called the meeting to order at 7:12 pm. Board Members Present: Supervisor Michael Herendeen, Clerk Rose Brown, Treasurer Carolyn Stevens-Absent, Gary Kiger and Richard Semans Guests Present: Carl Chalker, Karl Heckman, Marlene Webster, Doug Chapman, Diane Dowler, Deputy Craig Lawson Scheduled Comments: Marlene Webster updated the board on the activities at the county level. Doug Chapman and Craig Lawson spoke to the board about the jail bond proposal that is on the May 7, 2019 election ballot. Deputy Craig Lawson asked if the board had any concerns in the township. Public Comments: Opened at 8:01 pm Closed at 8:01 pm None Motion to Approve Agenda: Trustee Semans made a motion to approve the agenda with the striking of Marijuana Ordinance under Business and the addition of 1. Consumers Energy Street Light Contract, 2. Zoning Amendment Review and 3. Transfer of trailer. Clerk Brown seconded the motion. Aye: All Nay: None Carried Motion to Approve Minutes: Trustee Semans made a motion to approve the minutes from the March 13, 2019 as presented. Clerk Brown seconded the motion. Yes: All Nay: None Carried Motion to approve Bills: Clerk Brown made the motion to approve the payments of bills in an amount of $7,395.83 ck#5012- ck#5029 and 4 EFTs from the General Fund. Trustee Semans supported the motion. Yes: All Nay: None Carried Trustee Semans made a motion to approve check # 1008 for $75,025.00 for OMESA from Emergency Service Fund. Clerk Brown seconded the motion. Roll Call Vote: Yes: Kiger, Semans, Brown, and Herendeen Absent: Stevens Nay: None Carried Communications: Park and Recreation: None OMESA: Open House, May 18th Library: None MTA Meeting: Next meeting May 7th on Election Day but it will be held at the Road Commission. Assessor Communications: Thanked the Board of Review for their help. Business: 1. Consumer Energy Street Light Contract Trustee Semans offered Resolution 2019-03 to authorize the Clerk and the Supervisor to execute the contract with Standard Lighting Contract with Consumers Energy. Zoning Commission- Ordinance The county submitted an ordinance for the board review. The ordinance will be made available for the board to review. 3. Transfer of Title Clerk Brown made a motion to authorize the Clerk or the Supervisor to transfer the title of 2001 Continental trailer. Trustee Semans supported the motion.
