M-21, Ovid, MI Tuesday, February 10th, 2026 at 7:00 pm REGULAR MEETING Call to Order: Supervisor Herendeen called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm. Board Members Present: Supervisor Michael Herendeen, Clerk Jamie Aldrich-Absent, Treasurer Jill Ruess, Trustee Gene Ruess-Absent, and Trustee Ronald Powell. Ruess made a motion to approve agenda with the addition of adding road contracts to the agenda. R. Powell seconded the motion with the addition of road contracts. Library- Business as usual, meeting with auditor was scheduled for January. We are looking into an accounting program, something other then excel. Possibly something that will work well with the auditors. OMESA- Chief is going to retire, has been there almost 40 years. Will be selecting new chief soon. Clerk- Federal mileage went up to 72.5 cents per mile. Assessor- Absent Treasurer- Would like two things added to next months meeting, speak to auditor. Aslo add road contracts to next meeting. Business: 1. Jeffs Budget email. Jeff has projections and carry over in the budget now. We need to fix chart of accounts as well. He will be in next Tuesday so we can work on this. 2. BSA Cloud- Jeff and Angela spoke about budgeting for it. Mike don’t think we need to do this. We will talk about it for the 2026 budget. 3. Road Contracts. Mike was going to talk to Phil about it, he has not. He will call so we can get this approve in next months meeting. They will also be fixing Hibbard road dip in the spring. Old Business: 1. New Hall-Spoke about this last month. No new information.
