M-21, Ovid, MI Tuesday, May 13th, 2025 at 7:00 pm REGULAR MEETING Call to Order: Supervisor Herendeen called the meeting to order at 7:02 pm. Board Members Present: Supervisor Michael Herendeen, Clerk Jamie Aldrich, Treasurer Jill Ruess, Trustee Gene Ruess, and Trustee Ronald Powell Guests Present: Guests were present: 6 Gary Keiger Josh Haley, Mr. Chalker, Austin Bisson, Jodi Medina, Carrie Meisel Scheduled Comments: Josh Haley spoke about some of the issues with the water billing increase for the City of Owosso. He is working with Begole to try to get some state appropriations to offset some of this. Went over what needs to be done to get the money from the state so they don’t have to raise rates. Jill Ruess made motion to have Mark Holley remove the wood desk, and Geno Ruess to remove the metal desk, Jodi will remove the cart. Ron Powell second the motion. Jodi has reached out to a few attorneys and did not get much response back. Mike spoke to Scott Gould and he is willing to represent us. Jill Ruess made the motion to hire Scott Gould as the township attorney as needed. Jamie Aldrich second the motion.
